RTA or Assembled Cabinets?

RTA stands for Ready To Assemble. These cabinets are flat-packed and shipped unassembled in boxes. Buying your cabinets RTA is a great way to save money on your project. Assembly videos and instructions are available here. It typically takes 15-30 minutes for each cabinet.

Assembled cabinets are identical cabinets delivered fully assembled. The assembly charge is $59 per cabinet. Assembled cabinets take an additional 3 weeks for delivery. Please read our entire shipping policy.

Do you charge for room design?

Designs and revisions are free with no obligation to make a purchase.

What measurements do I need to provide?

A basic sketch of the room is a great start. If you need help, download our measurement help form.

How far in advance should I start working with a designer?

We recommend that you begin working with a designer at least three weeks before cabinet delivery. More time is always better.

How can I speed up the design process?

Order a refundable door sample.

It is helpful to provide your designer with either a sketch, architectural plan, previous design plans or quotes ahead of the design process. If this is not available, measuring and filling out a design form is a great start. Pictures of the space help too.

Although it’s not required, our designers LOVE getting links or photos of spaces you like and any other inspiration you have.

How can I communicate with my designer?

Your designer will be available by either phone or email. Design inquiries can be sent to: design@hopewellcabinets.com

Do any of your cabinets contain particle board?

No.

How is the interior of your cabinets finished?

Our framed cabinetry comes standard with UV-coated natural interiors. Glassdoor “GD” cabinets have interiors that are painted or stained to match the exterior.

Do I need a finished panel for exposed cabinet ends?

No, all of our framed cabinets come with finished exteriors. The sides of the cabinets are 1/4” in from the end of cabinet frame to allow scribe and flushing cabinet runs. Skin panels can be purchased to create a flush finish. Decorative end panels can be purchased to create a higher-end finish look.

Will the cabinets support a granite top?

Our plywood core construction for all of our cabinets ensures the strength required to support granite, concrete, or any other countertop material that you may select. No additional cabinet reinforcement is required. For any brand cabinet, including ours, overhangs should be limited to 12” or less. Larger overhangs will need support

How much weight can your dovetail drawers hold?

Our framed cabinet drawers have a weight capacity of 70 lbs.

What if my delivery includes damaged cabinets?

If your order is received damaged, please notate any damages with the freight company on the delivery receipt when accepting the delivery and take photos of the damaged items. Most importantly, do not refuse the shipment. Submit a claim online with the photos of the damages or send them immediately to support@hopewellcabinets.com. We will review and replace damaged pieces in a timely manner.

I am missing an item. What should I do?

It is important to count everything while the driver is present. In some cases, accessories may be packaged together, so don't always go by the packing slip. If something is missing, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us at: support@hopewellcabinets.com

The box looked fine but when I opened it, there was damage. What should I do?

This is considered concealed damage, and can happen in transit without anyone knowing. This is why it is important to inspect each box within 3 days of receiving your delivery. If you discover concealed damage, please report it immediately.

Can I make changes to my order?

Orders can not be changed once submitted. Our warehouses work around the clock to quickly process and ship orders. Please make sure that you triple check your order before you submit it online.

*Order changes are only allowed when there is an out of stock item on the order and the item is being replaced.

What is your return policy?

Please read our complete Return Policy . Returns are not accepted on assembled cabinets and custom wood hoods. There is a re-stocking fee for RTA cabinets and accessories. Please read all of our policies and measure your space carefully.
